“A virtuoso who is so touching with musical power and her unique personality i have never heard before”
In fact, after the recital of Vienna, she was appreciated highly by Prof. Toni Novak, the president of Plovdiv Academy of Music and fine arts in Bulgaria.
She won an award of an international competition, “the US Stravinsky Awards”, and an achievement award of Seoul Arts High School as a top entered student. Also, she skipped grades and entered as ‘Young Gifted’ undergraduate student of the Department of piano,National University of Arts in Korea. She was also invited to Austria Vienna Music Academy – Wiener Musik Seminar – as a full scholarship student. After going through the courses, she completed the vordiploma course of piano and studied for the diploma in the national university of Berlin Universitaet der Kuenste.
In her early years, through her philosopher father who loved classical music she got accustomed to living in a classical music environment. She placed first at the Chosun and Hankook Ilbo competitions and won awards in the Joongang and Donga competitions. She performed with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra or Seoul Symphony, and her actual performances at the concert hall of Mozarteum University of Music were recorded by Sommer Music Mozarteum Academy. She also performed in many places in Lubeck and Berlin. Even though she had a finger injury while studying after that, she graduated from Franz Schubert Konservatorium, a prestigious school with about 150 years of tradition, and acquired a Master’s Diploma getting the highest scores from the examiners unanimously. She is now working as a Guest Professor in Schubert Konservatorium in Vienna. And she is now teaching young pianist scholars and is working as one of the faculty members at ICA college in Hanoi.
